Senior MEP Planning Engineer-Taif

We are seeking a Senior MEP Planning Engineer to join our team on the high-profile Taif

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating the project’s MEP planning and scheduling activities, ensuring coordination between all MEP disciplines, timely execution, and alignment with overall project milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, monitor, and update the detailed MEP construction schedule in coordination with overall project program.

Coordinate with MEP subcontractors, consultants, and site teams to gather input and verify progress.

Identify key milestones, critical paths, and interface points for MEP works (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, ELV, etc.).

Ensure proper integration of MEP schedules with civil and architectural works.

Conduct regular schedule review meetings with MEP teams and update senior management.

Prepare weekly and monthly MEP progress reports, dashboards, and lookahead schedules.

Analyze delays and provide recovery plans or mitigation strategies as required.

Coordinate MEP shop drawing submissions, material approvals, and procurement timelines in the schedule.

Work closely with cost control team to align progress with earned value and forecasted expenditures.

Support claims or variations with proper time impact analysis (TIA) related to MEP scope.

Ensure compliance with project planning and reporting standards (Primavera P6, WBS, coding structures).

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 10 years of experience in planning, with at least 5 years in senior MEP planning roles on large-scale projects.

Proven experience on complex mixed-use or entertainment projects in the GCC (preferably KSA).

Expert in Primavera P6, MS Project, and advanced MS Excel.

Strong understanding of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, BMS, ELV).

Excellent knowledge of project planning standards, delay analysis, and reporting procedures.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills for coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
